He or she may be asked to assist in the supervision of student projects, the development of student research skills, provide instruction or plan/deliver seminars relating to the research area. Text: Research Associate in Mathematical Image Analysis and Machine Learning for Better Food Microstructures The Cantab Capital Institute for the Mathematics of Information (CCIMI) and the Cambridge Image Analysis group (CIA) in collaboration with Unilever are seeking strong candidates for a Research Associate position to work on a collaborative project on the analysis of microstructures in food products. The post holder will be employed by the University of Cambridge and affiliated with both CCIMI and CIA. The research activity of the successful candidate will focus on the development of image analysis methods for segmenting and classifying microstructures in electron microscopy images of food microstructures.
