Position: Researcher - Health Economics

Duties: We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic candidate to support the Health Economics Research Centre (HERC) economic research portfolio of economic evaluations in the areas of cardiovascular disease, respiratory disease, type 2 diabetes, stroke, mental health and musculoskeletal disorders. You will undertake a comprehensive economic evaluation, collect, interpret and analyse data and contribute to publications and presentations. The successful candidate will be supported to consolidate and further develop their research and analytic skills
Requirements: To be considered for this post you will have a strong graduate and postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g. statistics, mathematics, economics, epidemiology or other quantitative discipline) or equivalent relevant experience. You will also have research experience in economic analysis and strong data analysis and programming skills
   
Text: Researcher in Health Economics NDPH, Old Road Campus, Headington, Oxford Grade 7: £31,604 - £38,833 p.a. (pro rata for part-time) The Nuffield Department of Population Health contains world renowned population health research groups and provides an excellent environment for multi-disciplinary research and teaching. Based within NDPH, the Health Economics Research Centre (HERC) is a thriving group of health economists/analysts, with a varied research programme and a well-established reputation as a centre of excellence. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic candidate to support the HERC economic research portfolio of economic evaluations in the areas of cardiovascular disease, respiratory disease, type 2 diabetes, stroke, mental health and musculoskeletal disorders.
