Duties: We are seeking a Data Science Research Engineer to play a key role in managing health data in a cloud computing environment and building an analytics platform for health data analytics and deep learning. You will be working as part of a diverse team of clinicians, statisticians and computer scientists which uses electronic health records to build predictive analytics solutions to improve patient care
Requirements: Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field. Demonstrated experience with and detailed knowledge of data warehouse technical architectures, infrastructure components, ETL/ELT processes, and reporting/analytic tools. Demonstrated experience programming skills in R and Python, knowledge of C++ and Java, and proficient in a Linux(Bash) environment. Ability to use Amazon Web Services/Asure or other cloud computing technologies. Demonstrated ability to leverage Big Data Technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Hbase, Pig, Spark, etc.)
