Position: Senior Associate - Operational Risk

Duties: Work as part of a team participating in managing projects. Liaise with investment managers to collate information, coordinate on-site visits and schedules. Requirements: University level education or equivalent. Professional qualification (Actuarial, ACA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent) – preferential requisite. In depth understanding of investment manager operations and market participants. Significant experience in a similar operational due diligence or operational risk role. Knowledge of operational risk frameworks across the Mercer universe of asset classes, including equity and fixed income, hedge funds, fund of funds, private equity, private debt, real estate and infrastructure. Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

We are looking to employ a Senior Associate who has an understanding of the financial services industry and the operational functions of investment managers. Through the Mercer structured development programme and on-the-job training you will be supported, coached and developed. The job holder will work as part of a team of consultants. This role is based in our London office supporting our client requirements across Europe.
