The position will be remunerated by RTG 2088 according to pay grade 13 TV-L (29.85 hours/week corresponding to 75%) from October 2018 to March 2020. The successful candidate will carry out research in the field of regularization theory for inverse problems, in particular convergence rate analysis for l1 regularization. He or she will have a very good M.Sc degree (or equivalent) in mathematics and a strong background in functional analysis and regularization theory. Under special circumstances, the position is suitable for half-time.
