Duties: We are looking to appoint a part time, Research Assistant, who will be responsible for taking the lead on the development of the GACD Hypertension Research Programme End of Programme Report (EOPR), first draft to be completed by June 2018, final version by 30 August 2018. The EOPR intends to inform thought leaders, funding agencies, opinion and policy-makers of the evidence-base generated through the projects within this programme. The post holder may also be expected to present aspects of the report to a variety of audiences
Requirements: Candidates will have a postgraduate degree in a relevant subject area or equivalent skills and experience. Candidates must demonstrate the experience, skills and abilities set out in the attached Job Description. They will have a relevant degree for example: biological/life sciences, medicine or social sciences. They will have a knowledge and understanding of non-communicable diseases and the research environment. Quantitative and qualitative data design and analysis skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop good working relationships with colleagues, academics and senior officials and colleagues at all levels

We are looking to appoint a part time, Research Assistant, who will be responsible for taking the lead on the development of the GACD Hypertension Research Programme End of Programme Report (EOPR), first draft to be completed by June 2018, final version by 30 August 2018. The EOPR intends to inform thought leaders, funding agencies, opinion and policy-makers of the evidence-base generated through the projects within this programme. The post holder may also be expected to present aspects of the report to a variety of audiences. This exciting and demanding role requires project management skills, writing experience in life or social sciences, strong communication skills, an ability to work with others, ability to work independently under minimal supervision and juggling a busy workload. The post is available from 2nd January 18 to 31 July 2018, in the first instance. The post-holder will be based at GACD office, 215 Euston Road, London NW1 2BE.
