Strong development skills. Strong mathematical background. Experience in the field of security assessment. Commitment, team working and a critical mind. Text: Research Associate (Postdoc) in Security Protocols for Privacy by Default (M/F) Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract Expiration date: 15-Feb-2018 Company Text The Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT) of the University of Luxembourg is looking for a: Research Associate (Postdoc) in Security Protocols for Privacy by Default (M/F) Ref: R-AGR-3014-11-C Fixed Term Contract 2 years (CDD), full-time 40 hrs/week Number of positions: 1 Start day: April 2018 or earlier Employee status Your Role The successful candidate will join the Applied Security and Information Assurance (APSIA) research group, led by Prof. Peter Y. A. Ryan. The research is about tools and strategies for the analysis of security and privacy which we intend to apply in the analysis of protocols for peer to peer confidential communications in partnership project that we have with a local company. In addition to that specific interest, we welcome researchers interested in the broad subject of security design and analysis: we are interested, for instance, in designing and analyzing cryptographic security protocols and cryptographic schemes but also, alternatively, in tackling the problem from a complementary angle such as in a socio-technical understanding of security, usability security, and user experience with security. The final research path will depend on the quality of the candidates and their experience, and we are open to discuss research plans with an open mind and from a broad perspective.
