Position: Deep Learning Developer
Institution: The MathWorks, Inc.

Duties: As a member of the team you will design, develop and maintain MATLAB Deep Learning capabilities in collaboration with the whole team. You will seek real world feedback on software requirements through customer interviews and usability tests. You will work closely with other MathWorks teams and customers to help them adopt our Deep Learning capabilities. You will participate in all collaborative team activities such as planning, design discussions and reviews. You will work alongside other teams to ensure we can provide a quality product for our customers
Requirements: A bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree) is required. A Master’s degree and 4 years of professional work experience, or a PhD degree is required. A good degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or a related discipline

You will be joining a team of developers who are responsible for all aspects of deep learning, including algorithm design, usability, maintenance and improvements to the software architecture, and performance optimization for CPU, GPU and multi-GPU environments. Additional Qualifications A Master’s degree and 4 years of professional work experience, or a PhD degree is required. A good degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or a related discipline. Experience in implementing mathematical algorithms. Some experience with Deep Learning techniques. Object-oriented programming experience in a language like C++, Java, C#, MATLAB, or Python. Nice to have: Experience in statistics, data analytics, or other related computational mathematics experience Strong communication skills Experience with technical computing languages such as MATLAB or R Why MathWorks?
