Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Mathematics/Statistics or Actuarial Sciences and No prior experience required in the Actuarial area. Successful completion of one or more actuarial exams. 3.0 cumulative GPA

While Technical Execution supports our core processes, the team is also working through transformational change in order to increase the organization’s efficiency, effectiveness, and technical capabilities. This position additionally supports the operational efficiency and communication of the Finance Actuarial organization. Acts in an actuarial capacity while in pursuit of an actuarial qualification, performing duties which are of a mathematical and/or financial nature, in order to provide highly accurate data and analyses for use by Actuaries in the evaluation of reserves, financial reporting or the pricing of business. May involve sharing subject matter expertise to others in the organization or supporting others in their efforts to deliver on our promise. Job Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Mathematics/Statistics or Actuarial Sciences and No prior experience required in the Actuarial area AND Successful completion of one or more actuarial exams 3.0 cumulative GPA Preferred Qualifications: Active Actuarial Study Program towards achievement of designation and successful completion of one or more actuarial exams toward that qualification Experience with Microsoft Office and/or knowledge of statistical analysis software Job Accountabilities Calculates actuarial best estimate reserves (loss and premium), planning, and profitability analyses for defined segments of insurance business. Performs research, loss emergence studies, and other statistical analyses. Ensures that the claims provisioning processes for assigned tasks are appropriately governed in accordance with Group, Regional, and Local regulatory policies. Performs research, experience studies and other statistical analysis. Performs experience investigations and data validation. Establishes and runs actuarial cash flow models for use in actuarial reporting. Provide support for calculation of statutory reserves and financial valuations. Business Travel, as required Extended Hours during Peak Periods, as required Pass Applicable Actuarial Exams, as required Regular Predictable Attendance Business Accountabilities Provide basic actuarial services in order to fulfill routine business requirements. Performs statistical analysis, model and analyze data and develop models/programs for model building and analyses; interpret results of models and analyses. Compile and categorize data, documents and verify factors and assumptions used in computations to ensure robust output. Develops risk based capital models as well as parameterization and allocation activities to support actuarial services. Participate in the evaluation and review of new/proposed processes and systems, where analysis is conducted to support the implementation of upgraded systems. Demonstrate increasing knowledge of relevant actuarial disciplines and procedures to build value-adding, relevant technical knowledge. Work with actuarial colleagues in becoming familiar with company operations, business objectives and actuarial methodologies in order to be able to provide analytical support across an increasing breadth of scenarios. Actively pursue local actuarial qualification and demonstrate consistent progress towards designation in order to maintain the talent pipeline for Actuarial.
