The Institute of Computational Biology develops models and methods for data analysis in systems biology and systems medicine, integrating biomedical information on multiple scales, ranging from single cell time series to cohort omics data. In collaboration with the Helmholtz Diabetes Center, our Institute plays a major role in data integration and computational approaches in diabetes research, from animal models to population cohorts and patient studies.
