Duties: Actuarial Reserving: Reserving of Corporate business lines and (structured) reinsurance transactions (P&C), Annual reserve analysis and quarterly reserve updates, Group and Regulatory reserve reporting; Actuarial Risk Modeling: Build and maintain stochastic actuarial models for reinsurance transactions that feed into the Reserving and Underwriting Risk modeling process, Support with the quarterly Premium, Reserve and Cat Risk calculations under the Solvency II Standard Model; Regulatory Reporting: Support with the Actuarial Function Report write-up and related analysis, Support in the ORSA process, in particular with respect to scenario analysis; Pricing: Contribute to pricing tool reviews for Corporate business lines
Requirements: Relevant educational background with strong analytic focus (e.g. mathematics, statistics, actuarial, physics, economics); Qualified or nearly qualified actuary; Minimum of 3 years of experience as an actuary (preferably Reserving, Pricing or Risk Capital modeling); Basic understanding of Solvency II framework; Advanced knowledge of the Balance sheet and Profit & Loss structure of a (re)insurance company; Knowledge of actuarial modeling software (e.g. ResQ, @Risk, Remetrica, etc.); Programming experience in VBA, Matlab, R, SQL would be a big plus; A solid command of the English language (writing and speaking) as well as advanced German language skills would be a plus
