Duties: University of Nova Gorica announces an open position as Post-Doctoral Collaborator (m/f) in Physics. The successful candidate will take over some pedagogic obligations on one or more study programs at the University of Nova Gorica
Requirements: PhD in Physics, Chemistry or Materials Science; solid background in experimental physics, with proven experience with at least one of the following topics: designing and implementing experiments, possibly in time-resolved mode, to investigate properties of solids or diluted matter; designing and implementing experiments based on the magneto-optical Kerr effect (MOKE); dealing with ultra-high vacuum instrumentation; good command in english language

POST-DOCTORAL COLLABORATOR (m/f) in the field:  Physics Candidates are expected to:  have PhD in Physics, Chemistry or Materials Science;  have a solid background in experimental physics, with proven experience with at least one of the following topics: o designing and implementing experiments, possibly in time-resolved mode, to investigate properties of solids or diluted matter, o designing and implementing experiments based on the magneto-optical Kerr effect (MOKE), o dealing with ultra-high vacuum instrumentation.  be involved also in pedagogic work after employment at UNG,  good command in english language. The successful candidate will take over some pedagogic obligations on one or more study programs at the University of Nova Gorica. Evaluations of applications will start on 6 March 2019.
