Position: Clinical Teaching Fellow (Primary Care Medical Education)

Duties: The successful candidate will lead on and be responsible for GP placements for 1st and 2nd year medical students within the ‘Patient Pathways & Integrated Community Care’ (PPICC) vertical module. This includes contributing to the on-going planning, organisation, and development of this course, including the PPICC visitor component. Additionally S/he will lead on and be responsible for 5th year medical students’ Primary Care Mental Health (MH) placements (currently 2 half days in practice and 1 half day workshop in development to start Sept 2019) as well as acting as the module co-lead for the Primary Care overview module on the iBSc in Primary Care
Requirements: The successful candidate will have a degree in medicine, be fully registered with the General Medical Council and eligible for inclusion on the NHS performers list as a General Medical Practitioner. They will be clinically active with experience in teaching clinical students as well as organisation and preparation of medical student learning and be committed to General Practice and Primary Care
