Duties: An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Membership Representative to join our Curtin Stadium Sport and Recreation team on a full-time basis (12 month fixed term contract). This position was newly created to assist with improving the sale of new client memberships for the Main Gym, Group Fitness Timetable, Indoor Cycling Studio and The Studio (smaller version of the Main Gym for specialised exercise programs). Continually assisting to improve client renewal of memberships is also an important component of this position
Requirements: Proven experience in a sales environment, preferably sales experience in the health and fitness industry. Demonstrated skills in lead generation techniques and the ability to assess and be highly responsive to prospective member needs. Demonstrated ability to accurately record and analyse client and sales data. Demonstrated time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet targets and deadlines. Be highly motivated and have a passion for supporting people in achieving their health & fitness goals. Demonstrated interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Demonstrated computer literacy, showing sound skills in standard Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Word, Excel and Outlook) Effective oral and written communication skills with cross cultural sensitivity

Curtin Stadium offers a wide range of services including fitness memberships, health and rehabilitation programs, event hire, sports competitions and programs, access to sports clubs and court and ground hire. Your new role An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Membership Representative to join our Curtin Stadium Sport and Recreation team on a full-time basis (12 month fixed term contract). This position was newly created to assist with improving the sale of new client memberships for the Main Gym, Group Fitness Timetable, Indoor Cycling Studio and The Studio (smaller version of the Main Gym for specialised exercise programs). Continually assisting to improve client renewal of memberships is also an important component of this position. The role requires the achievement of sales targets predominantly through phone and email enquiries, walk-in visitors, pre-arranged tours and utilizing lead generation techniques. You will liaise with members via telephone, email and in person to provide support and encouragement in achieving their health, fitness and sporting goals whilst continually achieving retention targets via retention programs. You will proactively implement and develop new sales techniques to assist with growth of fitness memberships whilst providing an outstanding level of customer service. Importantly a percentage of this role also provides administrate and logistical support to the Events Coordinator in the delivery of events for clientele. Duties include but are not limited to processing booking requests, assisting with event set-ups, responding to general event enquires, setting up meetings and appointments and undertaking general administrate duties as and when required. The position is based at reception and will therefore also assist with reception coverage through answering telephone calls and greeting all clients. This role will suit an incumbent who comes from a membership sales background, accompanied with a positive, friendly and outgoing personality and that has an active interest in the health and fitness industry. This role offers a lucrative commission scheme on top of the base salary. This scheme will be discussed in more depth during the interview process. Curtin Stadium has an extensive range of operational hours and the ability to work outside of normal hours when required is also essential.
