Duties: The UCL Institute of Ophthalmology is seeking to recruit a Laboratory Manager who will be responsible for the smooth and efficient management of laboratories of designated Principal Investigators at our Bath Street site. The post holder will be responsible for grant management; the co-ordination and supervision of research staff and students; "on the ground" management of staff and students; the monitoring of laboratory practices and ensuring compliance with local Health & Safety procedures
Requirements: The post holder will have a degree or significant relevant experience of supporting research in a laboratory environment combined with experience of procurement and facilities management. The successful candidate will have significant experience in research techniques used to conduct molecular and cellular biology and or visual science
