Drafting manuscripts and disseminating research findings through seminars, workshops and conferences. Providing effective supervision of research Honours, research Masters, and research doctoral students working on related projects Analysing and graphing data
Requirements: A doctoral qualification in relevant discipline. Extensive experience in liver disease and metabolism as well as cutting-edge molecular, biochemical and cell culture methods. Solid expertise in the fields of metabolism, regeneration and cancer. Excellent animal handling skills, expertise in immunohistochemistry/immunofluorescence, real-time PCR, Western Blotting, cell/tissue culture and gene editing techniques. Evidence of a record of research outputs/creative works in high quality refereed journals/outlets consistent with the discipline. Demonstrated high level communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as a supportive team member. Highly motivated with a detailed and meticulous approach to their research

Your new role This postdoctoral position was created to support a 4-year project funded by NHMRC grant APP1160323. You will work in the Liver Disease and Regeneration Group headed by Associate Professor Tirnitz-Parker.
