Duties: We have an ambitious program of work mapped out and we are recruiting a Research Fellow to work with the Principal Investigator and Co-Investigators to coordinate and deliver a portfolio of top international quality research on the factors that influence current cyber risk decision-making at board level. The postholder will produce a range of publications for different audiences including academic journal articles and conference papers, policy briefings, reports, media pieces etc. He/she will also represent the Cyber Readiness for Boards project at relevant international fora and within UCL as well as liaise with government and industry to promote the project
Requirements: The successful candidate will have a PhD in a relevant field (which could include International Law, International Relations, Public Policy, Management or Political Science) with an outstanding track record of research and publications. Proven knowledge of social science research techniques and methodologies, alongside insight into some economic, organisational and human factors that are drivers for cybersecurity across diverse national and international context is essential
   
Text: Research Fellow , - Ref:1791218 Click here to go back to search results Apply Now UCL Department / Division Science, Technology, Engineering and Public Policy Location of position London Grade 7 Hours Full Time Salary (inclusive of London allowance) ?35,328 - ?42,701 per annum Duties and Responsibilities Cyber Readiness for Boards is a ?1M research project supported by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) and Lloyds Register to investigate the board level decision making process on cyber security. The project brings together partners from the public and private sectors as well as academics from both social and technical disciplines. Key Requirements The successful candidate will have a PhD in a relevant field (which could include International Law, International Relations, Public Policy, Management or Political Science) with an outstanding track record of research and publications. The person must have demonstrated ability to conduct research to an internationally competitive level. The person must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, results orientated and organising their work to meet deadlines.
