Position: Clinical Associate Professor/Honorary Consultant General Paediatrician

Duties: This is an exciting opportunity for a general paediatrician who can demonstrate that they have a major research interest in any area related to clinical academia, such as general/acute paediatrics, mental health, population/public health, epidemiology/data science or health services research. Acute paediatric clinical skills are essential for the clinical role on wards at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). This post represents an exciting and challenging opportunity to play a leading role in strengthening collaborations between PPP and GOSH and developing/supporting new teaching opportunities such as MSc or similar programmes
Requirements: It is expected that the candidate will be a competitive clinical academic. Candidates must hold a PhD or MD, MBBS or equivalent, and be eligible for GMC Registration. Completion of training and extensive experience in general paediatrics/neonatal medicine/child health/population health is essential

We are looking for a dynamic clinical academic who can support the integration of research, teaching and clinical work between academics at UCL GOS Institute of Child Health (particularly in the Population Policy Practice Program- PPP) and GOSH. This post represents an exciting and challenging opportunity to play a leading role in strengthening collaborations between PPP and GOSH and developing/supporting new teaching opportunities such as MSc or similar programmes. The post will be equally split between academic commitment and clinical commitment. Key Requirements It is expected that the candidate will be a competitive clinical academic.
