Duties: As a Lecturer, Teaching & Research; you will work as part of a team providing innovation and excellence in teaching and research. You will deliver high quality teaching to undergraduate, honours and postgraduates students, and develop a coherent programme of research. Part of your role will be to stimulate and foster student learning by conducting tutorials, practical classes, demonstrations, workshops, student field excursions, as appropriate. You will likely lead or coordinate the work of other staff in your team
Requirements: Progress towards a doctoral qualification in relevant discipline. Demonstrated ability to teach effectively as well as a commitment to reflective improvement in teaching delivery. An understanding of pedagogical theory and contemporary educational practice relevant to the discipline. An emerging research track record/potential to conduct quality research and contribute productively to research teams

For further information click here to view the Academic Role Statement You will bring to the role A doctoral qualification in relevant discipline Demonstrated high level teaching skill and a demonstrated reflective approach to teaching delivery A strong understanding of pedagogical theory and contemporary educational practice relevant to the discipline and a record of contribution to scholarship in teaching An established record of research outputs/creative works in high quality refereed academic journals/outlets consistent with the discipline Demonstrated ability to supervise higher degree research students Demonstrated commitment to applying relevant and applicable policies, procedures and legislation in the day-to-day performance of the functions of this position Associate Lecturer (ALA) As an Associate Lecturer, Teaching & Research; you will work as part of a team providing innovation and excellence in teaching and research. You will be responsible for coordinating and delivering business law units offered by the School. The role also contributes to the scholarship of teaching, service and leadership within the discipline. Expertise in the area of corporations law and regulation would be an advantage.
