Position: Project co-ordinator

Duties: The Project Coordinator works as part of the ICZ Operations team to support the delivery of ICZ projects. The role involves close working with academic staff within the Schools, the ICZ Director and Professional Services staff to coordinate, monitor and report on activity across a portfolio of related projects, ensuring that they deliver on time and within budget and scope. Working with Academic Leads, the role of the Project Coordinator will be to provide assurance to ICZ Executive that the project is delivering the benefits outlined in the business plan. This will be achieved through regular progress reporting, and escalation of risks and issues which may affect the successful outcome of projects
Requirements: Proficiency with principles, methods, techniques and tools for the effective management of projects from initiation through to implementation e.g. PRINCE2/Agile Project Management. Good general education with minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent to include Maths and English. Experience of effective report writing. Proven experience of project administration, planning and control. Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with proven experience in providing outstanding customer experience and management of stakeholder relationships. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 – including Microsoft Project and Microsoft SharePoint. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking. Ability to monitor budgets. Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with colleagues to build effective project teams. A proactive approach, with the ability to your initiative and make decisions under pressure. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines. An ability to work with attention to detail and high levels of accuracy. Excellent organisational skills with an ability to follow project management processes for the efficient and effective delivery of projects. The analytical skills required to contribute to process improvement
