Requirements:
Our ideal candidate is an internationally renowned Chair with experience of delivering high-quality research in Materials Science. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to provide strong inspirational leadership, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and experience of developing and delivering high-quality teaching at a variety of levels. A PhD in a relevant discipline is essential. Experience of securing significant research income. Internationally competitive peer reviewedpublications showing evidence of research vision andinnovation. Experience of developing and delivering high-quality teaching at a variety of levels. Substantial external recognition and high professional standing demonstrated by seminar and conference invitations, refereeing of journal publications and research grant applications. Ability to provide effective leadership, both for your own research group and more broadly within the Department. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills to conduct effective working relationships. Capacity to contribute effectively to the admissions process
