Liaison: Frequent contacts with internal personnel and external representatives concerning operations, scheduling or specific phases of projects or contracts. Interacts primarily internally with non-management employees, peers and other supervisors. Ability: Ability to accomplish results through non-management employees who may or may not exercise significant latitude and independence in their assignments. Often heads a work unit. Assignments are often task or activity oriented. Skill: Skilled in advising a work unit regarding tasks, projects and operations. Actively involved in daily operations only when required to meet schedule or resolve complex problems. Directly manages non-management employees in daily operations.
