Requirements: PhD. in economics, business administration/management (accounting, finance), econometrics, statistics or any related discipline. Strong background in econometrics and statistics. Previous experience in conducting empirical archival research studies and large-scale research projects. Basic knowledge in corporate finance/financial reporting. Software package knowledge/programming skills in STATA, R, and/or Python. Fluency in English is mandatory, any other languages, incl. French, German, Luxembourgish, are considered an advantage

Réf: R-AGR-0033-10-C Your Role The Research Associate will contribute to the deliverables and research goals of a quantitative empirical accounting research project (archival research). In particular, the Research Associate is expected to: Contribute to data gathering, data mining and coding in STATA/R/Python. Contribute to the statistical analysis of the data. Interpret and prepare findings for publication in international peer-reviewed journals. Disseminate findings at conferences and meetings. For the project tasks, the Research Associate reports directly to the Principle Investigator (PI) of the project.
