The work will mainly consist of three major steps. Step 1 will be a Literature review on state of the art of Airline Operation Control and Artificial Intelligence. Step 2 will be the development of a novel approach for such an OCC decision support system. The concept will support the complex decision finding and execution task. Initially it will run only in shadow mode with interfaces to simulated and state of the art Airline Operations Control Systems. Finally step 3 will consist of an evaluation of the OCC decision support system. Several “What-If” scenarios will be developed and executed to show the benefits and possible shortcomings of the DiSpAtCH system
