Position: Teaching Fellow in Statistics

A typical load would involve the organisation, delivery and assessment of two courses per year, each involving around 30-40 hours of contact time and with class sizes up to around 200; plus occasional contributions to other courses as appropriate
Requirements: Candidates should hold or be close to submitting a PhD (or equivalent qualification/attainment in research publications) in Statistics, or a closely related field. It is essential that the successful candidate has the ability to construct and deliver lecture courses on topics relevant to the needs of the Statistical Science Department, at both undergraduate and Masters level, and have excellent (verbal and written) communication skills

A typical load would involve the organisation, delivery and assessment of two courses per year, each involving around 30-40 hours of contact time and with class sizes up to around 200; plus occasional contributions to other courses as appropriate. Existing course materials will be made available for any course assigned during the first year of appointment. The post is initially for a period of 24 Months and available from 1st May 2019.
