Position: Research Assistant/Research Fellow in Medical Statistics/Healthcare Epidemiology

Duties: The successful applicant will join the Epidemiology of Cancer Healthcare and Outcomes (ECHO) Group, within the Dept. of Behavioural Science and Health to conduct research of the epidemiology of cancers diagnosis; and cancer patient experience survey
Requirements: Research Assistant applicants must have an under-graduate degree in mathematics or statistics and a Master’s in medical statistics or equivalent research experience; Research Fellow candidates must have a PhD degree in medical statistics or healthcare epidemiology or equivalent research experience. They should have expertise in data analysis using command-based/programming languages (e.g. STATA, R) with level of skill appropriate to the advertised grades together with ability to rapidly acquire skills in new analytical software as needed. They should be excellent communicators and be generically IT literate

This post is available from 1st April 2019 and is currently funded until 30th June 2021 in the first instance.
