Active involvement in the acquisition and realization of national as well as international research projects with partners from industry and public entities. Publishing and teaching responsibilities
Requirements: Great interest in technical as well as business trends in the area of smart and sustainable transportation. A master’s degree with good results in information systems, computer science, statistics, management, economics, industrial engineering or other related fields. Familiarity with some of the following topics: artificial intelligence, data science, advanced statistics, machine learning and/or big data analysis as well as experience with related tools, programming languages and libraries. Experience in web and mobile application programming. Very good German and English skills are a must. Experience in projects, e.g., internships, student assistant position or similar. Exposure to an international context is a plus, e.g., study or work abroad, but not required. More than any particular skill, we are looking for someone who is team-oriented, open-minded and communicative, displays the willingness and ability to learn new skills and is motivated and ambitious for independent and thorough research work

The position provides the option for obtaining a Ph.D. degree and is limited to 3 years - an extension is possible.
