Position: Deputy Pro Vice-Chancellor, Business and Law

Duties: The Deputy Pro Vice-Chancellor (DPVC) supports the Pro Vice-Chancellor (PVC) to provide strategic academic leadership across the Faculty of Business and Law. You will manage key strategic projects and initiatives for the faculty and provide leadership in the development, implementation, monitoring and reporting of faculty business plans. You will lead academic and professional staff performance to deliver superior teaching, research and student engagement outcomes. Your extensive relationship building skills will foster strong internal and external stakeholder relationships and create links across the University and with relevant professional bodies and external stakeholders
Requirements: Strong academic leadership experience is required, with superior stakeholder engagement and communication abilities, plus recognised teaching and research achievements. You will possess commercial acumen, and have previously contributed at a senior faculty level perhaps as a Dean, Head of School/Department or Centre/Institute Director. You will also be able to drive innovation in teaching, learning and internationalisation, be engaged with government, and industry stakeholders committed to excellence in higher education. You will show a demonstrable ability to take ownership of strategic projects and see them to completion, and commitment to increasing University diversity and gender equity
