Duties: You will be responsible for the training of all staff working within the Student Enquiries Centre. This includes ensuring staff outside of the Student Centre team, who operate from the Student Enquiries Centre desks, have training on general enquiry responses and are kept up to date with issues and information which may affect their service delivery; ensuring high standards of service are provided in the Student Enquiries Centre. You will also lead the cross-training of Professional Services teams operating within the new Student Centre Building, including Library Services, ISD Helpdesk, Student Fees, Student Funding and Access Security Systems (ID Card Production)
Requirements: The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of using SITS and SID and will have proven experience of managing a team of customer focused student services staff within a university or similar institution. Showing a sensitive and responsive approach to students and commitment to their wellbeing, the candidate will be able to remain calm and courteous under pressure maintaining a professional and approachable manner. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, including diplomacy and discretion, and the ability to liaise with staff and external individuals at any level of seniority is essential
   
Text: Student Centre Coordinator, - Ref:1778611 Click here to go back to search results Apply Now UCL Department / Division Student and Registry Services Specific unit / Sub department Student Support and Wellbeing Location of position London Grade 7 Hours Full Time Salary (inclusive of London allowance) ?35,328 - ?42,701 per annum Duties and Responsibilities With UCL?s new Student Centre opening its doors next year we are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Student Centre Co-ordinator (Student Enquiries) to support the implementation of a new student enquiry and case management system which will be piloted by our expanding Student Centre team and then rolled out across Student and Registry Services (SRS) Teams. This is a key role in shaping the future for student enquiry management at the University during an exciting time of growth and development. You must have an excellent knowledge of the SITS student information system and the SID student enquiry and case management system to enable you to effectively manage and develop the Student and Registry Services (SRS) first-line response to students? online enquiries. To identify and realise improvements to UCL?s approach to student enquiries you will analyse and deliver changes to processes and information; managing the development, promotion and implementation of the changes. You will produce materials to support the delivery of training of Student Support and Wellbeing (SSW) staff using the SID system and ensure staff are kept up to date with changes to the SID system tools which may affect their service delivery. Your experience will also mean you will contribute to the rolling implementation plan and development of functionality/tools of the SID student enquiry and case management system.
