The duration of the appointment is open-ended following the successful completion of the initial probation. The successful applicant will be one of a customer-facing team of library assistants providing high quality, user-friendly customer service for both UCL and external customers in a welcoming environment and in accordance with Library Services? Service Charter. The post holder will also provide support for all functions and facilities in the library as directed by the Librarian and Issue Desk Head. Key Requirements The successful applicant will hold 5 A*-C GCSE?s or equivalent as necessary qualifications. They will be able to offer a high level of customer service, be able to use their initiative and be an excellent team player. No specialist knowledge of Archaeology is required for the position. The successful applicant will be working for UCL Library Services and not the UCL Institute of Archaeology.
