Position: Senior Staffing Officer

Duties: The Senior Staffing Officer is a key member of the administrative team. They will lead and provide a comprehensive and effective HR service. The post-holder will be responsible for ensuring that all staff are aware of and adhere to UCL HR policies and procedures. This will involve offering advice on recruitment and selection, staff probation and appraisal, terms and conditions of service, and all other HR Policies
Requirements: Applicants must possess a Bachelor Degree or have relevant experience. The candidate will have experience of providing high-quality HR Administrative service, advising and implementing on a range of HR policies, procedures and processes. This includes experience of recruitment and selection and of using HR databases and systems. The candidate will possess specialist knowledge of employment legislation and the enthusiasm to update this knowledge on regular basis. The successful applicant must have highly developed communication (oral and written) and good interpersonal skills and ability to deal with a variety of people at all levels both within UCL and externally. The post-holder must demonstrate excellent organisational skills and possess an ability to work to deadlines and under pressure, with high attention to detail
