The Project Active Coordinator will be deliver beginner friendly, accessible sport and active lifestyle events throughout the year including women’s-only sport, social sport leagues and several mass participation events
Requirements: The requirements of the job include significant events and activity programme management. The role holder will need to have proven ability to develop and run communications and marketing campaigns as well as experience of working in a membership led organisation in the sports and higher education sectors. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a busy environment, be customer focused and manage day to day individual workload as well as work well as part of a team. The role holder will need to have strong attention to detail, be proficient in IT and undertake analysis of data and statistics

Union UCL is an organisation that exists to make more happen. We are the representative body for University College London?s (UCL) students, one of the most diverse student communities in the world. As a charity we employ over 70 full-time staff and deliver a wide range of services and representative functions for students. This role forms a key part of our Student Engagement and Communications team, led by the Head of Student Engagement and Communication. Comprising departments including; Student Activities, Advice, Representation, Volunteering and Marketing, the team delivers the core functions of the Union, with one of the largest student engagement programs in the UK. The Student Engagement and Communications team, and this role, are key to the successful delivery of our new strategic plan that will set us on the path to become one of the best students? unions in the UK, and more importantly a better students? union for our members. The purpose of this role is to oversee the coordination of Project Active; Students? Union UCL?s programme designed to engage inactive students in sport and physical activity. The Project Active Coordinator will be deliver beginner friendly, accessible sport and active lifestyle events throughout the year including women?s-only sport, social sport leagues and several mass participation events. You?ll work alongside the Sports Development Manager, Sports Development Coordinator, Project Active Coordinator (Post-Graduate), Lead Strength & Conditioning Coach, Sports Administrator and a range of talented student staff, and be responsible for engaging inactive students in physical activity; helping us to achieve our goal of being the best university for Sport in London.
