Duties: This position is responsible for the development and implementation of faculty-specific conversion plans and activities to increase offer-to-enrolment conversion to the faculty. You will plan and develop faculty-specific conversion strategies that reflect the Business and Law objectives and manage all faculty-specific offer-to-enrolment conversion activities. As part of the Curtin International Recruitment team, you will work closely with the Regional Recruitment Managers to develop effective conversion plans, and regular product training for internal and external stakeholders and undertake research into student enrolment and faculty trends that impact international student recruitment
Requirements: Completion of a relevant degree with demonstrated relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant work experience and education/training. Speaking of a second language is highly advantageous. Demonstrated sales/student recruitment experience in an international context. Demonstrate effective oral, and written communication, networking and negotiation skills and the ability to apply these skills with an awareness of cross cultural issues and ethical practises, and to unfamiliar people and situations. Demonstrated effective research/analytical skills including the ability to obtain and interpret information and make specific recommendations. Demonstrated skills in organisational, time and outcome management with a commitment to continuous improvement. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on achieving objectives

Your new role An exciting opportunity exists for an International Recruitment Consultant based in the Faculty of Business and Law, reporting to the Manager, International Student Recruitment. This position is responsible for the development and implementation of faculty-specific conversion plans and activities to increase offer-to-enrolment conversion to the faculty. You will plan and develop faculty-specific conversion strategies that reflect the Business and Law objectives and manage all faculty-specific offer-to-enrolment conversion activities. As part of the Curtin International Recruitment team, you will work closely with the Regional Recruitment Managers to develop effective conversion plans, and regular product training for internal and external stakeholders and undertake research into student enrolment and faculty trends that impact international student recruitment. You will provide reports in relation to the Faculty’s international student recruitment and conversion activities, monitoring the conversions of offer to enrolment on a weekly basis. You will utilize your outstanding relationship building skills by establishing networks with all relevant Curtin staff and student representatives whilst organizing the reception of international visitors to the Faculty relating to international recruitment. This position will suit an incumbent who has excellent use of initiative accompanied with strong interpersonal skills, able to work with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and seniority. This is a fast paced role so you must have experience working in a similar environment of competing priorities. You will have the ability to build strong relationships with both international students and stakeholders and will have previous exposure in business development. This role requires someone who is technically minded, specifically with Microsoft Excel, accompanied with strong analytical skills.
