You will be expected to take a lead role in the teaching of our longstanding BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying and the Environment. You will also make a significant contribution to the teaching of the undergraduate courses in Construction Management and Architectural Engineering. We are looking to appoint a candidate with a dedication to the delivery of high quality teaching. You will be expected to have involvement in professional activities as well as contributing to recruitment marketing and business activities within the department. The Department of the Built Environment is a vibrant and growing part of the school. Next to the current undergraduate degrees in Building Surveying, Construction Management and Architectural Engineering we will be launching a course in Quantity Surveying in fall 2019. Our courses are accredited by the RICS, CIOB, CABE and CIBSE. You must have a good Master's degree or equivalent in subject area relevant to building and construction. Experience of working in industry and Building Surveying practice will be highly valued for the position. Membership of the RICS is desirable.
