Duties: The post holder (Research Assistant) will join a world renowned, multi-disciplinary department within Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine with the ability to gain experience into multiple research areas. The primary role of the post holder will be to maintain and characterise a novel transgenic mouse line in close collaboration and consultation with relevant academic/research colleagues
Requirements: Science degree in a relevant subject or Qualified to HNC/HND level in Biological Sciences (Minimum of Merit Award) or equivalent experience. Experience and skills in specific techniques for research area (e.g. animal husbandry, cell biology, tissue physiology/calcium imaging, qualitative/quantitative PCR)

Funding for this post has been made available through a Wellcome Trust Seed Award awarded to Dr. Conor McCann. This work will be based at UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health (ICH). The post is available from 1st April 2019 for 18 months in the first instance, further funding for the post is dependent on performance availability of funding.
