Position: Teaching Fellow in Spatial Data Science and Quantitative Methods

Duties: The UCL Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis is seeking to appoint a full-time Teaching Fellow in Spatial Data Science and Quantitative Methods from January 2019. The post-holder will primarily deliver and refine content for two postgraduate taught modules “Spatial Data Capture, Storage and Analysis” and “Data Science for Spatial Systems” which run from January 2019. From September 2019, the post-holder will also co-deliver Quantitative Methods, a core module on our Master's programmes
Requirements: Essential skills include extensive knowledge and experience of Python and SQL, and knowledge of the Pandas and scikit-learn (or equivalent) Python libraries together with a master's degree in a relevant discipline and extensive experience of capturing, analyzing and visualizing spatial data from a range of sources over a range of platforms
