Position: Research Fellow (Software Engineer)

Duties: This post is engaged in GPU implementation of complex in-house software for stereo reconstruction including the development of an interface to a video “point-and-stare” system. This system now needs to be ported to a GPU-based system both for large-scale GPU processing and onboard a future satellite constellation for real-time processing
Requirements: The post-holder is expected to hold a PhD (or equivalent experience), Bachelor or MSc in Computing/Software Engineering and have significant experience in computing programming and computer vision preferably related to airborne to satellite data. Programming experience (in C++ and/or Python) for EO stereo satellite data, skills in CUDA (Compute Unified Device Architecture), knowledge of stereo photogrammetry, and knowledge of linux are also essential requirements for this post
