Position: Application Engineer - Modelling and Simulation

Requirements: A bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree) is required. A good first degree from a top tier university. MATLAB or Simulink experience

Responsibilities The primary responsibility of this position is to lead the technical aspects of the sales and applications support process for customers. Responsibilities include: Using industry experience & product knowledge to engage with customers and understand their workflow, requirements and problems, and then providing in-depth technical guidance on the optimal use of physical modelling to address their needs. Developing and delivering product presentations. Working with our development organisation to prioritise the development of new features in our products. Minimum Qualifications A bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree) is required. Additional Qualifications The successful candidate must have: A good first degree from a top tier university Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills MATLAB or Simulink experience In addition, experience in the following areas will be advantageous: Experience in building physical models of systems, especially in the mechanical, thermal and fluids domains Experience working in a customer-facing role Why MathWorks?
