They should have a good understanding of the current developments in the field and have knowledge and proficiency in using digital systems and IT
   
Text: Senior Teaching Fellow - Digital Teaching and Learning for Online Bioprocessing Content Creation, - Ref:1762783 Click here to go back to search results Apply Now UCL Department / Division Biochemical Engineering Location of position London Grade 8 Hours Full Time Salary (inclusive of London allowance) ?43,884 - ?51,769 per annum Duties and Responsibilities The Department of Biochemical Engineering at University College London (UCL), will be expanding and developing its provision of online teaching and learning content across a range of its modules. This includes extending the online platform to support the new MSc programme in Stem Cell and Gene Therapy Manufacture and Commercialisation the UCL MBI? courses. The intention is to create online teaching and learning tools for the new MSc course in addition to creating online resource template replicated for other MBI? courses, enhancing MBI? reputation as the leading training for the bioindustries. In this role you will work closely with academic staff in the development and delivery of online education. You will support the development of learning objectives, assessment methods and the delivery of teaching material, by working closely with colleagues in the Department and Digital Education Team and the UCL Arena Centre for Research-based Education. UCL is one of the world?s top universities and has the highest concentration of biomedical research and teaching in Europe. The UCL Department of Biochemical Engineering coordinates the engineering inputs to the programme. The Department is a world leader in bioprocess research and education and received the Queen?s Anniversary Prize for Higher Education in 2013. The Department wishes to appoint a Senior Teaching Fellow to reimagine existing educational content and developing original content for a digital space, and employing innovative teaching and learning methods to extend the global reach of the Department?s education. You will have a flexible approach and a keen eye for detail as you: Develop, plan and deliver teaching and learning content appropriate for a fully-online audience Support module leaders in the further development of their courses, and the translation to a digital and blended learning environment; Develop rigorous methods for matching assessments to learning outcomes and teaching. This post is funded for 9 months in the first instance.
