Duties: The post requires a policy analyst to assess the feasibility and legitimacy of policy options with stakeholders in a range of countries across the West Asian and European regions. Conducting policy analysis on policies to improve sexual health of refugees and migrants in West Asia and Europe. The post-holder will be responsible for supporting the implementation of Wellcome Trust-research proposal in collaboration with our partner in 3 countries. The post also involves teaching and supervision at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
Requirements: The post-holder at either level is expected to have a *PhD in health policy analysis, or an equivalent disciplinary area. Applicants will have proven ability and commitment to carry out high quality original research using methods and approach of health policy analysis. They will have publications in health policy as first or last author in internationally refereed journals. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop good working relationships with colleagues, academics, senior officials and others, ensuring frequent and effective communication. The ability to present data publicly in oral, poster and platform form. Candidates will also demonstrate the ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team and flexibility in working. Applicants will have willingness to travel overseas and occasional working outside business hours

The project aims to understand and address the interlinked problems of inequalities, migration/refugees and sexual health (infections, unplanned pregnancy and sexual violence) in West Asia and Europe. The post requires a policy analyst to assess the feasibility and legitimacy of policy options with stakeholders in a range of countries across the West Asian and European regions. Conducting policy analysis on policies to improve sexual health of refugees and migrants in West Asia and Europe. The post-holder will be responsible for supporting the implementation of Wellcome Trust-research proposal in collaboration with our partner in 3 countries. The post also involves teaching and supervision at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. This post represents an exciting opportunity to both conduct policy analysis and work alongside key stakeholders to identify policies which are both feasible and acceptable to improve the sexual health of refugees and migrants. The post is available for two years in the first instance. Key Requirements The post-holder at either level is expected to have a *PhD in health policy analysis, or an equivalent disciplinary area.
