Duties: We have a vacancy for an experienced student administrator to work on undergraduate programmes in collaboration with academic and professional services staff of the Department. The post holder will be the first point of contact for Geography students in person and by email and will administer all aspects of teaching and learning activities of students, will service staff-student consultative committees and support the Examination Board and processes relating to assessment, student and course records
Requirements: You will have experience of working in a teaching administration role within a Higher Education Institution with experience of servicing committees, administering assessment and examination processes, and will be able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills alongside the ability to communicate well with students and staff and handle a wide range of enquiries. The successful candidate must have strong IT skills, clear written and verbal communication skills and be able to work with a high degree of accuracy. Ideally you will have experience of providing a student facing support service with demonstrable tact and empathy
