You will have completed, or be close to completing, a PhD in mathematics or a closely related field, and have experience of undertaking research in a relevant field of mathematics, such as ergodic theory and dynamical systems, the spectral theory of Schrödinger operators or the mathematics of aperiodic order. The post is funded for three years and is available for a start date between 1 January 2019 and 1 April 2019, or as soon as possible thereafter. The successful candidate will be based at the Open University in Milton Keynes.
