Professor of Data Sciences and Operations (Open Rank)-Statistics Apply Department of Data Sciences and Operations Los Angeles, California The Department of Data Sciences and Operations within the USC Marshall School of Business invites applications for an open rank tenure-track position in Statistics starting in Fall 2019. Applicants must display strong research potential as well as excellent teaching skills. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in statistics or a closely related field or be assured of its completion by Fall 2019. We are interested in applicants from all areas of statistics. Applicants with interdisciplinary interests in statistics and machine learning are encouraged to apply. The successful applicant will join a vibrant statistics group of 16 faculty who are also committed to an environment that embraces diversity of topics and methodological approaches. Remuneration is very competitive. In addition, generous research support for technology and travel is provided for all faculty. Teaching loads are generally low with many faculty completing their teaching assignment in one semester. Interested candidates should apply online.
