Requirements: You will have a PhD in Computer Science or a Mathematics based subject involving mathematics and computing. You should have a strong foundation in data science and data analytics including experience with machine learning algorithms. Strong problem solving and analytical skills with experience of using MATLAB and Python. Experience in developing advanced machine learning tools for complex datasets. Knowledge/experience of programming and analytics practices for development software for embedded hardware/IoT devices would be an advantage

This position is a 36 month fixed term contract, with a £2k per annum dedicated training budget tailored towards your personal development. Candidate Profile: You will have a PhD in Computer Science or a Mathematics based subject involving mathematics and computing. You should have a strong foundation in data science and data analytics including experience with machine learning algorithms. Key attributes; Strong problem solving and analytical skills with experience of using MATLAB and Python. Experience in developing advanced machine learning tools for complex datasets. Knowledge/ experience of programming and analytics practices for development software for embedded hardware/ IoT devices would be an advantage. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organisational skills to take project ownership and achieve agreed objectives. Self motivated, inquisitive and able to work on own initiative.
