The post will report jointly to Professor Gianluca Baio in the Department of Statistical Science and Rachael Hunter in Primary Care and Population Health. They will also be a member of the Health Economics Analysis and Research methodology Team (HEART) in the Institute for Clinical Trials and Methodology (ICTM) at UCL, working primarily with Priment Clinical Trials Unit (CTU). The post is an exciting opportunity for a researcher with a strong background in statistical methodology in health economic evaluations who would like to grow that skill set further. In addition to methodological work they will have the opportunity to have hands on clinical trial experience conducing health economic evaluations including decision modelling and analysis using trial data. Priment and the ICTM have a growing portfolio of large, multi-centre randomised control trials across a wide range of clinical areas, providing the post holder with a wealth of data and varied experience. As a member of Priment CTU and the ICTM you will be involved in the health economic components throughout the lifetime of the trial. Funding for this post is available for 12 months in the first instance and is supported by NIHR.
