We are currently looking for a Teaching Fellow to support our growth in hands-on teaching of engineering mathematics. We have a unique brand to offer students, as one of the first Departments to offer part-time applied engineering degree apprenticeships in conjunction with companies such as Jaguar Land Rover and Network Rail. We are looking for a competent teacher with specialist knowledge in engineering mathematics as well as knowledge of teaching methods and techniques, who is able to facilitate individual and group learning at undergraduate level. The teaching and learning environment is rapidly evolving, with a distinct shift to a greater level of engagement utilising technology enabled learning and lab-based sessions, as well as more traditional lectures, therefore we are looking for someone who has a real interest in developing novel teaching methods. Experience in the design and development of materials and programmes would be advantageous.
