Post-holders will lead the development of cutting edge new research, interface with the wider technical team and clinical partners, and actively engage in research dissemination and intellectual property
Requirements: Applicants must have a Honours degree (2: 1 or above) or equivalent in Mathematics, Engineering, Physics or Computer Science. A MSc in an appropriate field is desirable. This is an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic candidates with excellent technical skills and track record to join an internationally leading research group. The Centre mission is to increase the translation of scientific and engineering discovery and advances into real life clinical tools for first-in-human clinical studies. We require outstanding engineers with in-depth technical skills in computational methods, imaging, robotics and software to develop and translate the next generation of interventional systems. The appointment is available immediately and is funded for 3 years in the first instance.
