Duties: Planning, developing and implementing the Servant Leadership Training Programme (SLTP), a community engagement and student leadership development programme. Establishing strong partnership with external organizations to increase community engagement opportunities for students. Engaging with students regularly to encourage their continued participation. Preparing budget proposal, assessment on project effectiveness and progress reports. Providing support to the planning and implementation of new initiatives and/or special projects to be developed through the STLP
Requirements: A good honours degree or an equivalent qualification with at least 1 year’s relevant working experience, preferably in higher education/community services/event management. Ability to plan, coordinate events and programmes independently. Excellent interpersonal skills. An enthusiastic attitude of service and care, with a dynamic personality. Good problem-solving skills, resourcefulness and self-motivation. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua). Working knowledge of computer applications
   
Text: Temporary Project Officer (at the rank of Executive Officer II) in the Student Development Services (Appointment for 12 months) [Ref. B/R/772/09] Project Servant Leadership Training Programme (SLTP) Duties Reporting to the Associate Director (Student Life and Resources), the appointee will be responsible for: Planning, developing and implementing the STLP, a community engagement and student leadership development programme; Establishing strong partnership with external organizations to increase community engagement opportunities for students; Engaging with students regularly to encourage their continued participation; Preparing budget proposal, assessment on project effectiveness and progress reports; and Providing support to the planning and implementation of new initiatives and/or special projects to be developed through the STLP. The appointee is also required to work flexible hours on a need basis, and perform any other duties as assigned. Requirements A good honours degree or an equivalent qualification with at least 1 year’s relevant working experience, preferably in higher education/community services/event management; Ability to plan, coordinate events and programmes independently; Excellent interpersonal skills; An enthusiastic attitude of service and care, with a dynamic personality; Good problem-solving skills, resourcefulness and self-motivation; Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); and Working knowledge of computer applications.
