Although the position will initially be for the nine-month academic term, preference will be given to candidates able to also take on three-month terms during the summer or a twelve-month appointment
Requirements: Candidates must have an earned graduate degree in Computer Science or a closely-related field although candidates with extensive industry or professional experience will also be considered. Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to high-quality undergraduate Computer Science education in the areas of theory, programming languages, algorithms, database systems or other core areas of Computer Science. Candidates should highlight their experience in these areas

This position will support the Department of Computer Science’ educational mission through teaching courses for the Applied Computer Science bachelor’s degree, a new online post-baccalaureate degree offering. The post-baccalaureate degree in Applied Computer Science is a new degree for professionals with a prior bachelor’s degree that would benefit from computing but who do not have the prerequisite courses needed to pursue graduate study.
