Duties: The Union is a not for profit charity employing over 90 full-time staff who work with seven elected student Sabbatical Officers to deliver a wide range of services and representative functions to one of the most diverse student communities in the world. The post holder is to assist in the effective running of the Union bars and venues and working with the Venues & Entertainment Manager and Commercial Development Manager. They are also responsible for preparing the venues for service, ordering and moving stock and ensuring that events are adequately staffed to provide an effective level of customer service
Requirements: The post holder must either hold or have the ability to obtain a Personal License and S.I.A. License and have significant experience of working in a bars licensed environment. The successful candidate must have knowledge of health and safety standards and regulations and excellent customer service skills and ability to deal with complaints
